Etnies Men’s Scout Skateboarding Shoes

Bought for holiday in Cyprus, so didn’t want anything too heavy (weight or material). This fit that need perfectly; lightweight material means your feet don’t get really hot, yet they were more than comfortable walking around in all day; including walking around an old fortress (on the walls, uneven ground etc)

You don’t expect them to have the support or cushioning of a Merrell walking shoe, but I found them more than adequate for normal day to day use.

I bought these shoes in preparation for my travels across Europe. I did my research and found a pair of shoes that was meant to be incredibly comfortable yet still stylish with a great brand name.

These shoes have not disappointed. I wore them almost every day through Europe (4 weeks) and then took them away with me to South East Asia (6 weeks) and wore them almost every day again. They’re just so comfortable and have not lost shape/support at any point.

Only thing to be aware of is that as they are a netted martial (great for hot weather breathabilty!) it unfortunately means that do not stand a chance against rainfall and more particularly puddles. Had a few incidents that left me with drenched feet but at least they dry quite quickly!

As the title says, this is the best pair of shoes I’ve bought. I love them so much that this is my fourth pair since I first bought them. They are really comfy to walk long distances or just lounge around.
They fit perfectly so I would go true to size but just bear in mind my feet aren’t that wide so other people might have to go one size up.
Only downside is that the fabric tends to rip at the back after continuous use but I guess that’s because I walk a lot every day so kind of my fault as well.

In essence these trainers are great.

Let’s start with the sole, they got that right. If I could just review that part alone it would get 5 stars from me. Mainly because it’s, light and you feel like you’re walking on air.

However then the mesh upper, its not a stretchy sock like some common trainers and if you have narrow skinny feet these will probably be awesome for you. Although the Laces are the most random set up I’ve ever seen on a trainer. They seem to have less, function as the mesh sock is all one. Laces usually expand or contract the trainer. In this case they don’t.

For those of us whose feet are wide, arches are high these aren’t the best option,these appear to be developed for slender flat footed individuals.

The place where you insert your foot is extremely shallow and fairly narrow.

I was blessed with a high instep although the middle of my foot is narrow the front of it isn’t that perfect hour glass footprint and so the arch makes my feet too deep for these.
