I love these. Bought them for my petite five-year-old son to roller-skate ing. I really like that the knee and elbow pads surround the joints — the wearer’s arms and legs go through them like a sock. Other pads I’ve found for small children tend to just have streaks that go around that joint. Such pads are considerably more prone to move or even come off. I’m really happy with them.

The elbow pads were pretty good but the knee pads were ridiculously slim fit – my child is slim for his age (he has just turned seven) and couldn’t get them over his calf let alone to his knee!!!
Total waste of money.

Issue no. 1: The size of the actual foam padding varies between right & left elbow protectors, I trust it should be the same. One is definitely too small therefore does not provide backing for plastic cup.
Issue no. 2: The actual foam padding is not centered against plastic ‘cups’ in knee protectors.
I have made a complaint to Amazon (as it is ‘fulfilled by Amazon product’) and awaiting a refund. I am going to order another set (as I like the design – shape of foam padding allowing knee/elbow easy bending), will see what will arrive. If similar happens to you, AND YOU STILL WANT THE PRODUCT, I would recommend contacting the seller to request a replacement as Amazon cannot offer replacement of this, only refund WITHOUT FREE POSTAGE VOUCHER FOR NEW ORDER.

Just what we wanted, my son had a fall off his bike so wanted some extra protection when going on his bike rides with his dad. Gave him the confidence to do this with no worries!!

Good value for money and they do the job well. Size is probably more suited to 7 to 10-year-olds as they are a little big for younger kids but you can double-knot the straps to shorten them for a better fit.

We bought these for my 5 year old son to use while riding his bike. The first problem with these is the wrist guards which are completely unsuitable for a 5 year old to use while riding a bike. The length of the plastic means it is impossible for him to bend his hand and use his brakes making them dangerous and unusable. The second problem with these is that the straps for the elbow and knee pads are far too long. When doing them up you ‘overshoot’ the velcro and have to attach it to the material on the pad itself which does not bind as well and again is dangerous as they keep falling off. Finally, the material is scratchy, cheap and falls apart soon after use and I have now had to purchase another set from a local store to make up for these useless items.
Overall, poorly designed, falsely advertised and a dangerous waste of money. The seller should be ashamed.

So basically my flatmate and I decided to start skating bc I am in the market looking for a sad indie boi. Luckily we live near a sk8ter park, which is amazing btw., bc whenever I go to lidl I see the sad skater bois. However, cause we’re in a global pandemic and have suffered from 10 years of tory austerity the NHS is underfunded and currently overwhelmed 🙁 Therefore, we decided that even though it might not look to good and might reduce my chances with the sad indie bois, to get some protective gear. Bc money is tight and even though I am 21, I have the physique of 12 year old, I ended up buying this great set. Sadly we are too shy to go to the actual skater park (it’s scary- I wanted to got but my flatmate was too intimidated by the amount of sad male energy) but we have tried them out while skating at night and they were kind of good, a bit uncomfy but they do the job. The flatmate I mentioned (who makes my advances for the sad skater bois harder bc she doesn’t wanna go there with me bc she’s too scared but we will one day when she pushes past her fear) particularly enjoys the effects of the product which allow her to walk around on her knees in the flat (I would say house but we’re not too sure) down the stair- pls note that when u do that u have to traverse the stairs backward. 4/5 sad indie bois would recommend, meaning in 10 years time it will be a trend (but they liked from the start but u wouldn’t understand ofc). xx

My son tries this on the 2nd time and they scratch his skin so bad. I am going to ask for a refund.
